When I was younger, I was always wanting to learn something new. Whether coding websites, editing videos, or playing saxophone, I consistently enjoyed combining creativity with analytical thinking. My interest in human interaction led me to study Economics and Law in Rotterdam, disciplines that combine exploration of human behaviour and its boundaries.

At the start of my career in M&A advisory at Baird and J.P. Morgan, I had the opportunity to work across a range of industries and geographies and quickly learned how culture can define the trajectory of an organisation especially when two companies join forces.

Seeking deeper understanding of how businesses operate, I joined an investment fund covering Sub-Saharan Africa. In some of the most challenging environments to grow businesses, I learned first-hand how good partnership and persistency can lead to extraordinary results. Collaborating closely with management to enhance business processes, corporate and sales strategy and financial operations, I know how exciting it can be when an entire team starts to feel the positive momentum.

Entrepreneurship has always inspired me, both professionally and beyond. One of my most memorable experiences outside my professional career is organising a classical concert at 5,000 meters altitude in the Himalayas. Carrying a piano to the top of the mountain, I learned that with teamwork, creativity and persistency, the world of possibilities is endless.
